Brings back the fun? Didn't NHL 08 sorta do that?

I am one of the few that actually liked NHL 2K8, but when you're fact sheeting stuff like Zamboni mini games and beards? Really?

NHL 08 beat seemed to be last year's favorite because 2K8's controls just got to cumbersome. I think they want to get their fans back.

I have no idea why a mini game would be considered a draw. Although I will admit that I am a sucker for the mini rinks.

But I never picked up 2K8 last year, despite really enjoying 2K7, becasue I heard the controls were so much tougher to use. Hockey is really just a pick up and play game for me, so getting more "realistic" with the controls was a turn off. I know NHL 09 became the game of choice at GWJ, but it had been the 2K series before that.
