Great little game. I had been eagerly awaiting this game since it was announced. I love a good light tactical war game and am a huge Memoir '44 fan. This game is clearly from that mold, but with its own twists (and as you mentioned a smaller board). I haven't played Manouevre so I can't compare to that. I agree though, proceeding through combat can be excruciatingly slow. I hope this game succeeds and they add some Japanese/Russian/British expansions. If it does succeed I'd love to see Days of Wonder take notice and put Memoir on Xbox Live, though I won't hold my breath. Also, I'm assuming that the Tide Of Iron conversion that was announced ages ago has been scrapped.
